Assessments & Treatments:

What do I wear?
For assessment and treatment purposes, we require patients with upper body and back injuries to wear a tank top or sports bra.  For lower body and back injuries, we ask that you wear shorts.

Do I have to bring anything?
Please bring an appropriate change of clothes (see above) and gym shoes.  If you are coming in for a lower body injury, please bring in your usual shoes as well, so we can take a look at the wear pattern.

How will I feel after my appointment?
This depends.  You may feel better or worse depending on you and your injury.  Your physiotherapist will let you know what you may feel, if not feel free to ask them!

Should I ice or heat after my appointment?
This depends.  Your physiotherapist will give you specific guidelines on icing and heating your injury.

What if I am really sore after an assessment or appointment?
The day after your appointment, you will hear from our customer care representative, to see how you are feeling after your assessment.  Let her know how you are feeling.  However, if you have any concerns after any appointment, please call 403-328-PEAK and ask to speak to your physiotherapist.

When do I make my next appointment?
Your physiotherapist will let you know when to make your next appointment.  If this was not discussed, then our front staff will find out for you!

How many treatments will it take to get better?
This depends on you and your injury.  Your physiotherapist will give you a rough estimate as to how long it will take to get you back to your best.

When will I start to feel better?
Again, this depends.  Your physiotherapist will help estimate when you will feel better.  Be patient :-)

What if I have a concern about my experience?
We need to know this asap in order to make it right!  Please speak with our customer care representative, and she will address any issues you may have.

Do you sell any items that I may need to get better?
We sure do.  Ice packs, braces, back rolls, pulleys, exercise balls, wobble boards... we have a ton of stuff!  Need something we don’t have in stock?  We can order it for you from our supplier.  Just ask!

I’m already a patient but now I have another injury... now what?
You will have another assessment for the new injury, so the assessment fee would apply.  Then we would double-book your appointments to ensure your physiotherapist has enough time to treat multiple injuries.
