Owner/Physiotherapist
BMR(PT), CAFCI, E3V3/Level 3 Upper & Lower, Advanced Spinal Manipulation, Kinesiotape 1-3, MacKenzie A-D, Accredited McKenzie Practitioner, Nordic Pole Walking Instructor

When I moved to Lethbridge in 1988, I originally intended to stay for only one year. It’s been a long year! Although I might miss the beauty of the Maritimes and the lakes of Manitoba, the varied landscapes around Southern Alberta more than make up for that.

Now that both my kids are adults and I'm no longer needed as "mom taxi," I enjoy walking, Nordic Pole walking, hiking, camping and reading. I also enjoy scrapbooking, but I have to admit, I've not done much in awhile!

Since the beginning at Peak in 1992, I have always used the best treatment options for my clients including exercise therapy and collaborating with the other therapists to help achieve the best possible outcomes. In 2014, I received my Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute of Canada and I can't be more happy with the results my patients get from this approach. I am also certified in Spinal Manipulation and  Medical Acupuncture which can help with pain management for some clients.

What keeps me motivated?  Hearing “thank you” from happy clients!  I also enjoy helping injured workers return to their job, dancers back to rehearsals or judoka back to the tatami.

Physiotherapist
BScPT, FCAMPT, CAFCI, MacKenzie A,B,C&D, Kinesiotape

I have been involved with the sport of speed skating most of my life.  I was the Head Coach of the Lethbridge Speed Skating Association for many years but have now moved on to other adventures. More recently, I took up mountain biking and now compete in endurance events throughout Alberta and BC.

Outside of my sporting life,  I have a wife and four adult children.

I am a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapist (FCAMPT) and certified in Medical Acupuncture (CAFCI).  I enjoy treating clients who are dealing with acute or chronic pain (sprains, strains, and automobile accidents). I like to incorporate humour into my treatments and help clients understand the nature of their injury.

Ben
Physiotherapist
BSc(Neuroscience), MScPT

Hello, my name is Ben. I was born and raised in Lethbridge. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the UofL and my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the UofA. I have returned to Lethbridge as this is where most of my friends and family reside.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family from anything between playing board games to going on hikes. I spend a fair amount of time weightlifting at the gym to improve upon my own health and fitness, as well as challenge my body’s mental and physical capacity.

I am passionate about helping people understand their own situation, so they are better equipped to tackle their goals. I am always happy to answer questions and I would encourage you to do so. My treatment philosophy starts with education and consists of primarily exercise and functional training.

I look forward to meeting you in the clinic and being part of your rehabilitation journey!

Jibin
Physiotherapist

HI, I am Jibin Jacob, originally from India where I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree and moved to Canada right after. I have been working as a Physiotherapist for the past 3.5 years in Ontario and Saskatchewan. Now I have made Lethbridge my new home, and I must say what a beautiful city.

I am enjoying every bit of my Canadian life along with my lovely wife. I enjoy spending time outdoors doing paddle boarding, disc golfing, hiking, and mountain biking. I just love enjoying nature, that's probably why I moved from east to west.

I can speak English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, so please feel free to communicate if you are comfortable in any of these languages.  I am very fortunate to be a physiotherapist and help people achieve their health goals.  I would love to meet you and assist in your recovery.

Michelle
Exercise Therapist/Kinesiologist
BSc(Exercise Science), CSEP Certified Personal Trainer, Pfilates Instructor, Kinesiotape 1&2, Osteoperosis: Prevention, Treatment & Managment, McKenzie A, Nordic Pole Walking Instructor

Hi, I’m Michelle!  Born and raised in Lethbridge, I attended the University of Lethbridge and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree (Exercise Science) in 2011.  Shortly after, I started working at Peak, as a Kinesiologist, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time assisting the physiotherapists and working individually with clients on their exercise programs.  I particularly like helping injured workers get back to their job and motivating people to persevere through their rehabilitation in order to achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals.  It is so rewarding to see someone master their exercise program and re-discover a love of physical activity!

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, golfing, swimming, and travelling.  During my travels, I have discovered a passion for water activities, including snorkelling, paddle boarding, and kayaking.  On my travel bucket list is to one day snorkel the Great Barrier Reef and volunteer at a school/orphanage in Africa!

I look forward to helping you out in the gym with your personal exercise program and getting you back into “peak” shape!

Chris
Exercise Therapist/Kinesiologist

Hi I'm Chris! I recently graduated from the University of Lethbridge receiving my BSc in Kinesiology in the spring of 2020. I enjoy inspiring people and helping them reach their personal goals while educating them about the reasoning behind treatments. My long term goal is to become a physiotherapist and continue to help people. I have been involved in Judo for 18 years and made the national team in 2016 before retiring from competitions in 2018. Now, I enjoy doing Judo, playing tennis, dirt biking, ski-dooing, and jet boating in my spare time.

Taylor

Taylor
Exercise Therapist/Kinesiologist

Hello, I am Taylor! I was raised in Taber and moved to Lethbridge for school; recently completing a Kinesiology degree at the University of Lethbridge in December 2020. After spending time volunteering and job shadowing at Peak I am very excited to work as a kinesiologist and continue helping patients in their recovery process!

Outside of work I spend most of my free time as a mom to my three fur-babies. I have two cats, Nova and Ember, and a Blue Heeler puppy named Flurry. I enjoy taking my puppy on walks and runs, and spending hours playing fetch with her. When I am not entertaining my pets, I love being active. I like to go for bike rides, hike, and just last year I taught myself how to roller skate. Growing up I was a competitive figure skater and continue to spend as much time on the ice as I can. From skating I have completed my certification as an NCCP professional coach and have been trained to coach Special Olympics as well.

I am thrilled to work at Peak so I can aid the physiotherapists in helping patients feel better than ever!
