Greetings

Welcome to the May newsletter from Peak Physical Therapy.

You may have noticed the change in our logo.

That's right- Peak is 30 years old this month! From our humble beginnings with just 2 therapists, 1 receptionist and  4 treatment beds to now where we're in our own building, there have been multiple changes over the years.

We'd like to thank all our past and present patients, the City of Lethbridge and the surrounding communities for keeping us in business this long! We will be having some small in-house celebrations throughout the month. Please feel free to pop by and say hello!

Even with our celebrations, we're still looking out for your health and wellbeing.

In this newsletter we’re discussing dynamic neck strengthening as concussion prevention. There's also some information about rheumatoid arthritis as well!

NEW MAY ARTICLE

Concussions are common and concerning injuries in sports. As with many injuries and ailments, prevention is often the best treatment.

New research reveals that those with stronger neck muscles are less prone to concussions. Strengthening the neck may be the key to preventing these lingering traumas.

And if that doesn’t work, try again. The person who stands up more times than they fall down always wins.
