Massage is the manipulation of the soft tissues in the body - including muscles, ligaments, fascia, and tendons - to enhance a person’s health and well being. By releasing the soft tissues in the body, a massage therapist can reduce stress and anxiety, help rehabilitate injuries, reduce muscle tone, and reduce pain.
There are many different types of massage. Some of the ones our Registered Massage Therapists are trained in include:
- Craniosacral therapy
- Myofascial release
- Deep tissue massage
- Swedish massage
- Prenatal massage
- Trigger Point therapy
- Lymphatic drainage
- Reflexology

Robyn Beattie
I am an experienced Registered Massage Therapist and graduated as a Manual Osteopathic Therapist in March 2023. While I am licenced to provide general massage therapy, my passion is incorporating manual osteopathic therapy principles into my treatments. Treatments with me may look a little different than your usual massage therapy appointment. During sessions with me you are generally fully clothed, and no oil is involved. Treatment of injuries, pain and acute or chronic conditions is completed through a systems assessment to determine the root cause, followed by targeted manipulation of joints and tissues.
